We’re looking for a versatile, adaptable and experienced AV Engineer to join our UCAN team, located in our office in Vancouver, BC, Canada. This role requires a high degree of flexibility and a quick response time to ensure the smooth running of our services.</span></p><p></p><p><span>As an AV Engineer, your scope will be within AV Operations, where you'll be responsible for managing the global conference room AV experience. In AV Operations, we strive to improve user experience in collaboration, communication and productivity by identifying the AV needs of users, proactively testing new technological solutions, and monitoring/interpreting ticket data to find and reduce friction. We then provide tools, guidance and support to ensure the best experience. We value quick adaptation to new technologies and the ability to implement them swiftly and efficiently.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Your primary responsibility will be to provide and arrange direct AV support for the Vancouver Netflix Animation teams, ensuring their unique collaboration, review, and production spaces and workflows are optimized for creativity and productivity. You will develop and document AV workflows that address that both align with the global AV Operations strategy, and also accommodate the specialized requirements of these Animation teams and Mergers and Acquisitions. You will partner closely with Animation leadership and AV Builds to ensure the spaces both meet published standards as well as the unique needs of animation production. </span></p><p></p><p><span>Long term, you will lead initiatives to standardize and scale AV support and workflows across all existing and future Netflix Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), including Games and Animation studios, ensuring seamless integration into Netflix’s technology ecosystem.</span></p><p><span>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, plan, and execute AV integrations for newly acquired studios or business units, identifying unique needs and best practices.</span></p><p><span>Act as a subject matter expert for AV needs in creative environments, advising on technology solutions that foster innovation and effective cross-site collaboration.</span></p><p><span>You will also work cross-functionally within AV Events, which includes managing the setup, support, and teardown of AV equipment and coordinating with external vendors as necessary.
