Job Summary


  • The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations in a manual warehouse environment.


This role coordinates with forklift drivers, production teams, and shipping partners to ensure efficient inventory movement, accurate WMS management, and timely outbound shipments.


The position also requires maintaining clear communication with truck drivers and ensuring product quality and documentation compliance prior to shipment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Coordinate and supervise daily warehouse activities in a manual warehouse environment.

  • Provide work instructions and task assignments to forklift drivers to ensure safe and efficient operations.

  • Operate a forklift and support material handling activities when forklift driver coverage is required.

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

  • Execute inventory movements based on production schedules and requests from the manufacturing team.

  • Support outbound shipments according to sales orders and customer delivery schedules.

  • Organize loading operations and provide clear instructions to truck drivers to avoid confusion during pickups and deliveries.

  • Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), to ensure proper shipment records.

  • Conduct pre-shipment inspections to verify product condition, performance indicators, and packaging status.

  • Maintain warehouse organization, safety standards, and operational efficiency.

  • Report any product or packaging issues to the Quality Control team and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.


Qualifications


  • Experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

  • Forklift operation experience and certification preferred.

  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

  • Strong coordination and communication skills when working with internal teams and external truck drivers.

  • Ability to handle multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail in inventory control, documentation, and shipment verification.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous experience in a manufacturing plant or battery/automotive parts distribution environment.

  • Experience coordinating loading operations and shipment documentation.

  • Knowledge of inventory control processes and warehouse safety procedures.

  • Experience supporting both inbound and outbound logistics operations.

  • Basic problem-solving skills to address operational issues quickly.


Work Environment


  • Full-time position

  • Location : Clarksville, TN

  • Work is performed in a warehouse and distribution environment.

  • Frequent forklift operation and material handling activities.

  • Regular interaction with production teams, warehouse staff, and truck drivers.

  • May require standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials during the shift, minimum of 50 lbs.

  • Occasional overtime or schedule adjustments may be required based on operational needs.
